This is a timeline of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender history in the United Kingdom throughout the centuries.

1st century AD

  • AD 43 – Roman invasion and establishment of the province of Britannia.

2nd century

  • 122 – Emperor Hadrian visits Britain.
