LGBT history
In 2012 the Gay Police Association protested at the proposed issuing of bibles to Scottish police officers.[1] In Dec 2021 author J K Rowling raised questions about the approach of Police Scotland to gender self identification after Police Scotland confirmed that it would record rapes by offenders with a penis as carried out by a woman if they identified as female, regardless of whether they had legally changed gender [2].
