From LGBT Archive
Kate Crutchley (1944–2013) was an actor, director and LGBT rights activist.
Born in Wolverhampton, Kate trained at the Birmingham School of Speech and Drama. She is perhaps best remembered by the LGBT community for her work with Gay Sweatshop Productions and for directing The Women’s festival at The Drill Hall.[1]
Kate is survived by Claire, her partner of many years, and Claire's son, Josh, whom they lovingly brought up together.[2]
