The Burnley Buggers' Ball

The Burnley Buggers' Ball by Stephen M Hornby is a play based on the events in Burnley in 1971, including the meeting in Burnley Library when CHE was campaigning to be allowed to open a gay club in the town. It is being performed in Burnley and Manchester in February 2017 and in Liverpool the following month.[1]
Ken Pilling is played by Dean Michael Gregory, Fr Neville by Kyle Walker, Ray Gosling by Joseph Carter, Allan Horsfall by Michael Justice and Michael Steed by Ollie Devoti. The play is directed by Matt Hassall.[2]
