Central Milton Keynes
Milton Keynes is a borough and unitary authority in Buckinghamshire. It was formally designated as a New Town in 1967, since when it has expanded very considerably. It was deliberately located equidistant from London, Birmingham, Leicester, Oxford and Cambridge.

Bletchley Park was the home during World War 2 of the Government Code and Cypher School, where a team including Alan Turing played a vital part in decrypting German secret communications.

LGBT history

The local LGBT organisation is Q:alliance. It organises the annual LGBT General Assembly.

Trans:MK is the local trans group.

Friends Together is a local gay group.

The town's first Pride Parade was held in August 2012. The 2023 to be held in September is called the Milton Keynes Pride Festival.

Iain Stewart is the MP for Milton Keynes South.
