Sefton shown within Merseyside
Sefton is a Metropolitan borough in Merseyside in north-west England. It streches along the Irish Sea to the north of Liverpool and contains the towns of Bootle, Southport, Crosby and Formby, all formerly in Lancashire.

Kenny Everett, comedian, radio DJ and television entertainer, was born in Seaforth.

Marc Almond, singer-songwriter, was born in Southport.
