Queen's University Belfast was founded in 1845, originally as Queen's College Belfast and part of the Queen's University of Ireland. It became independent in 1908. Its main campus is near the centre of Belfast.LGBT societies
Queen’s University Belfast LGBT Society was one of the groups involved in setting up Equal Marriage NI.[1]
