An asset of community value (ACV) is a classification that can be given to a venue under the Localism Act 2011. Registration is decided by the local council and gives a degree of extra protection against the asset being redeveloped. Some LGBT venues that have been given this status include:
- The Black Cap (Islington)[1]
- The Joiners Arms (Tower Hamlets)[2]
- The Royal Vauxhall Tavern (Lambeth) [3]
