Location of Shetland within Scotland
Shetland, or The Shetland Islands, is an archipelago and council area (and originally a county, officially referred to as Zetland) in the far north of Scotland.

The Northern Constabulary, covering the Highland, Western Isles, Orkney and Shetland areas, was replaced in 2013 by the Police Service of Scotland.

LGBT history

Shetland Library publishes a list of LGBT books.[1]

Shetland LGBT is Shetland's first group for LGBT people.
