Ealing Town Hall
Ealing is the name of an area of West London and also of the London Borough in which it is located. The London Borough of Ealing was created in 1965 by merging the Municipal Boroughs of Ealing, Southall and Acton.

Ealing was the home of the Ealing Film Studios, opened in 1902.

LGBT history

Ealing CHE Group was founded in March 1972.

In 1987 a group for gay and lesbian young people aged 18-26 years old was established. It was called ELAGY [1].

There is currently an Ealing Gay Group.[2]

The West London LGBT Forum, established 2006, covers the boroughs of Brent, Ealing, Harrow, Hammersmith and Fulham, Hillingdon, Hounslow, and Richmond upon Thames.[3]

The West London Gay Men's Project offers sexual health services.[4]

John Gallagher was Mayor of Ealing, 2011–2012.
