De Montfort University

De Montfort University had its origins in the Leicester School of Art, founded 1870. This became part of the Leicester Polytechnic. It became a university in 1992. Its main campus is in Leicester. At one time it had additional campuses in Lincoln, Bedford and Milton Keynes.
