Simon Fanshawe

Simon Fanshawe (born December 1956) was one of the founders of Stonewall. He won the Perrier Comedy Award in 1989. In 2017, Fanshawe presented the BBC documentary Brighton: 50 Years of Gay. He was appointed OBE in the 2013 New Year Honours for services to higher education. In November 2020 he hosted an online discussion The Gay Spot – Are gay men getting lost in the gender identity debate? organised by the LGBAlliance.
