Eastleigh is a town in Hampshire and also the local government district that contains the town.

LGBT history

In the Eastleigh by-election of 2013, the Conservative candidate, Maria Hutchings, failed to take the seat from the Liberal Democrats, and was forced into third place behind UKIP. She had previously announced that she was opposed to equal marriage.[1]
