Andrew Lumsden , born 1943, is a long-term gay activist, former member of GLF and co-founder with Denis Lemon of Gay News.He is author (with Gillian E Hanscombe) of Title Fight: The Battle for Gay News (Brilliance Books, 1983 ISBN 0-946189-60-9); and of Souvenirs of Sirmione (One Roof Press, 2010 ISBN 978-0-9535824-5-7) with drawings by David Shenton.
In an interview on the BBC in 2022 he stated that he came out as gay in 1968 aged 25 [1].
