HUngerford is a town in West Berkshire. The Hungerford massacre in August 1987 led to legislation banning certain types of semi-automatic weapons.

LGBT history

Ham Spray House was the home of Lytton Strachey, Dora Carrington and Carrington's husband Ralph Partridge from 1924 onwards.

Will Young was brought up in the town.
