The Tay Bridge
Dundee is the fourth largest city in Scotland. It lies on the north bank of the Firth of Tay, and has been diescribed as the city of "jute, jam and journalism". Dundee City is a local government area, and was previously a district within the Tayside region.

LGBT history

There is a local LGBT organisation, Diversitay, which began life in 1994 as Dundee LGB Switchboard, and assumed its present name in 2000.[1]

Eddie Mair and Rhona Cameron were born in Dundee.
