Steve Gilbert (Stephen David John Gilbert, born 1976) is a British Liberal Democrat politician. He was born in Truro and studied at Aberystwyth University and the London School of Economics. He was MP for St Austell and Newquay from 2010 but lost his seat in the 2015 general election.

Steve Gilbert is openly gay.[1] He is a teacher at Highgate School [2] .
