Cambridge is a city in Cambridgeshire, mainly known as the location of the University of Cambridge, one of the two ancient English universities.LGBT History
in 1970 John Hiles formed the Cambridge branch of CHE. The following year, Hiles, together with Chris Heron, set up Gay Cambridge. Hiles committed suicide in 1978 [1].
In 2007 Jenny Bailey became mayor of Cambridge. Sarah Brown is currently a Cambridge City councillor.
