Location of Torfaen within Wales
Torfaen is a county borough in south-east Wales, within the preserved county of Gwent. The main towns are Cwmbran and Pontypool.

LGBT history

Leo Abse, who pushed through the Sexual Offences Act 1967, was MP for Pontypool and subsequently for Torfaen.

In 2012 the Rainbow Club were providing a group for young people, and the Rainbow Group were holding coffee mornings for LGBT people.[1]
