Jonathan Simpson (aged 36 in 2010)[1] is a Labour politician. He has been a councillor in the London Borough of Islington since 2002, originally as a Liberal Democrat, currently representing King's Cross.He was the first openly gay Mayor of Camden from 2010 to 2011, with Amy Lamé as his mayoress. He was again elected Mayor for 2013 to 2014, this time taking the singer Marcella Puppini as his mayoress.
