Location of South Gloucestershire within Gloucestershire
South Gloucestershire is a unitary authority in the ceremonial county of Gloucestershire, in South West England. It was created in 1996 by merging two districts (Kingswood and Northavon) of the former county of Avon.

LGBT history

There is a South Gloucestershire Lesbian Gay & Bisexual Forum.[1]
