Highbury is a district within the London Borough of Islington. The former Arsenal football stadium was a local landmark, and has now been partly converted to housing.
LGBT history
There was a Highbury and Islington CHE group in the 1970s.
David Starkey and his partner have a house in the area.[1]
Highbury Fields has been a known gay cruising area.
