The White House, Enfield

Enfield is an outer London Borough in North London. It was formed in 1965 by merging the former boroughs of Enfield, Southgate, and Edmonton (all then in Middlesex}. Enfield was formerly the home of the Royal Small Arms Factory, which produced the Lee-Enfield rifle.

LGBT history

The Enfield CHE Group was founded in November 1972.

In 1997 Stephen Twigg became MP for Enfield Southgate, unseating Michael Portillo.

There is an Enfield LGBT Network[1]
