The Proud2Be Project is a global community interest company founded in June 2011 by gay identical twin brothers Mat and Jon Price, to encourage and support LGBT people to be proud of who they are.[1] It is based in Devon.
The project runs an online video campaign where both public figures and members of the general public are invited to record a short video declaring pride for their sexual orientation and/or gender identity.[2] The site includes "Proud2Be" videos recorded by LGBT people including Stephen Fry, Christine Burns, Peter Tatchell, Michael Cashman, and Nigel Evans, as well as less-known people.[3]
The project is supporting Totnes Pride 2013.
