OutWest
From LGBT Archive
OutWest was a support, representative and social group for the LGBT communities of West London. It covered the London Boroughs of Brent, Ealing, Hounslow, Hammersmith and Fulham, Hillingdon, Richmond upon Thames and Harrow.
OutWest began life in 1988 as the Hounslow Lesbian and Gay Group. It briefly suspended activities in the late 1990s, but it reformed in 2001 and was rebranded as OutWest. It was consulted on by service providers such as the Metropolitan Police, Hounslow Homes and the West London LGBT Forum. In September 2009 OutWest became a registered charity.[1]
OutWest closed down in September 2016:
