Lisa Power

Lisa Power is Policy Director of THT. Brought up in Croydon she has been an active human rights campaigner for 25 years. She was a founder member of Stonewall (UK), and General Secretary of ILGA, being the first person to speak at the United Nations on behalf of gay rights. She is the author of No Bath but Plenty of Bubbles, a history of GLF.
She was included under "Unsung heroes" in the Independent on Sunday's Pink List 2008. The citation said:
- "Lisa Power has been a lesbian activist since 1970, she is a one-time secretary-general of the International Lesbian and Gay Association and a former member of the gay-rights pressure group Stonewall. Now head of policy at the Terrence Higgins Trust."[1]
Lisa Power was ranked 100 in the Pride Power List 2011. She now lives in Cardiff.
