Cutting Edge Consortium logo
The Cutting Edge Consortium (CEC) is a grouping of organisations working for the elimination of any faith-based homophobia/transphobia and institutionalised prejudice towards LGBT people.[1]

Members of the CEC include:

A:Gender, ASLEF, BDA, British Humanist Association, The Campaign for Homosexual Equality, Centre for the Study of Christianity & Sexuality, CWU, Ekklesia, Gay and Lesbian Humanist Association , The General Assembly of Unitarian and Free Christian Churches (Great Britain) , FBU, GMB, Inclusive Church, Interfaith Alliance UK, Lesbian & Gay Christian Movement, LGBT Consortium of Voluntary & Community Organisations, Liberal Judaism, Muslim Education Centre Oxford, NASUWT, National Secular Society, Newington Green and Islington Unitarians, Pink Triangle Trust, Progressive British Muslims, Quakers in Britain, Trade Union Congress, UNISON, UNITE.[2]

One of the main activities of the CEC is the promoting of major conferences on Faith, Homophobia and Human Rights. The next of these is planned for 5 April 2014.
