Alex Hirst

Alex Hirst (1951–1992) was a writer and artist, best known for his collaborations with his late partner, Rotimi Fani-Kayode. His first novel, Almost One, was published by Gay Men's Press in 1985.[1] He also co-founded the gay journal Square Peg.

"Rotimi was my friend, my lover but also my collaborator—unusual, especially for a a black man and a white man."[2]
