Moray

Moray is a council area in north-east Scotland. It corresponds to most of the historic county of Moray and part of Banff. From 1975 to 1996 it was part of the Grampian region. The main town is Elgin, and the county was known at one time as Elginshire. Other towns include Forres.
LGBT history
Moray Council was a member of the LGBT Consortium at one time:
- "Moray Council aims to improve the quality of life for all people in the Moray area by working with and for the community and by delivering quality services within the available resources and powers."[1]
LGBT Moray is a social networking group for LGBT people.[2]
