Suffolk Coastal shown within Suffolk
Suffolk Coastal is a former local government district in Suffolk, containing the towns of Woodbridge, Felixstowe, and Aldeburgh and the Sizewell nuclear power station. In 2019 it was merged with Waveney to form the new district of East Suffolk.

LGBT history

Aldeburgh is noted for its association with Benjamin Britten.

The composer Roger Quilter is buried in Bawdsey.
