Gravesend is a town in the Gravesham district of Kent, on the south bank of the Thames estuary.
LGBT history
In October 2011, Robert Jackson was jailed for breaking a man's jaw in a homophobic attack outside a nightclub in Gravesend, despite being gay himself. [1]
