The Pink Paper started in XXXX by xxxxxx, but was later bought by Kelvin Sollis and his partner David Bridle who quickly made it into a success. Whilst the Pink Paper was seen as a serious campaigning newspaper, with a Lesbian bias, Kelvin and David set up the frothier male youth magazine Boyz off the back of it.

The Pink Paper was bought by MPG (Millivers Prowler Press, who also publish Gay Times and Diva) in XX, who stopped printing paper copies in XXXX to publish only online.
