Matt Lucas
He was born in Paddington, brought up in Stanmore and studied at Bristol university.
Little Britain began as a BBC Radio series in 2001[1] and transferred to television from 2003. Lucas played many characters in the series, including "Dafydd Thomas", from the Welsh village of "Llandewi Breffi", who proclaims himself "the only gay in the village".
Lucas says he first had an inkling he might be gay at the age of seven.[2][3][4]
In December 2006, Lucas celebrated his civil partnership with Kevin McGee,[5] at the Home House Club, Portman Square, followed by a lavish pantomime themed reception at the Banqueting House, Whitehall, attended by celebrities including Barbara Windsor, Neil Tennant and Elton John.[6] After six years together, their civil partnership was dissolved through the High Court in 2008, becoming the first high-profile civil partnership dissolution in Britain.
Matt Lucas was listed number 34 in the Pink List 2010, 46 in the Pink List 2011, and 54 in the Pride Power List 2011
