The White Swan is a gay dance bar in Commercial Road in the East End of London.
Wednesday nights at the White Swan are stripper nights. In January 2011 the local authority, Tower Hamlets council, threatened to ban the stripper nights as part of a general policy of closing venues that featured strippers, but the venue hoped to escape the ban because the strippers are amateurs and no exploitation is involved.[1]
