Richmond upon Thames LGBT Forum exists to ensure that Richmond upon Thames is a safe and positive place that embraces all LGBT people who live, work, study, visit or socialise in the borough, by:- providing a voice for the LGBT community
- supporting the LGBT community in their dealings with statutory and other agencies
- building partnerships
The Forum is an independent organisation run by LGBT volunteers. It meets periodically and strives to be open, inclusive and accessible to all. Anyone can attend Forum meetings, although only those who self-identify as LGBT are entitled to full voting rights.[1]
The Forum was founded in 2007.[2]
