Croydon Friend was the Croydon branch of Friend, the counselling and befriending organisation. It was set up in 1973 as an offshoot of the Croydon CHE Group. It offered a weekly help line, and at one time a drop-in facility.
Croydon Friend was a member of SLAGO and won the SLAGO Cup in 1990 and 1991. It closed in 2001.[1]
