Carol Ann Duffy (born Glasgow 1955) is a poet and playwright..jpg)
She lived for a number of years with the Liverpool poet Adrian Henri, but later had a 15-year relationship with the poet and novelist Jackie Kay.
In 2009 she was appointed Poet Laureate.
She was listed number 45 in the Pride Power List 2011 and 25 in the Pink List 2012.
