Sark is one of the Channel Islands. It is part of the Bailiwick of Guernsey, but also has its own system of government, headed by a hereditary Seigneur (or Dame). Laws passed by Guernsey do not automatically apply in Sark.

Carl Hester. Olympic equestrian, was born and raised on Sark, riding horse from an early age on an island that has no cars.
