Richmond upon Thames LGBT Forum exists to ensure that Richmond upon Thames is a safe and positive place that embraces all LGBT people who live, work, study, visit or socialise in the borough, by:
- providing a voice for the LGBT community
- supporting the LGBT community in their dealings with statutory and other agencies
- building partnerships

The Forum was founded in 2007.[2]
