The Sexual Offences Act 1992 is an Act of Tynwald (the Manx parliament) which decriminalised gay sex between men in the Isle of Man. The age of consent was set at 21, as had been done in England and Wales in 1967.Section 38 of the Act prohibited "promotion of homosexuality" by public bodies, similar to the UK's Section 28 (which had already been repealed).
