Angela Eagle was born in Bridlington in 1961.

The Swallow Hotel is gay-owned.[1]

In July 2018 an LGBT flag outside Bridlington police station for Pride in Bridlington was cut down in a homophobic attack.[2]

Bridlington Pride were unable to hold a Pride event in 2020 because of Covid-19.
