Banffshire is a former county in Scotland, the main towns being Banff and Buckie. In 1975 it became part of the Grampian region. The area is now partly in the Moray district and partly in Aberdeenshire.LGBT history
Margaret Macpherson Grant was born in Garbity, Aberlour parish, Banffshire, in 1834.
