Blackburn is a town in Lancashire. The borough of Blackburn was renamed Blackburn with Darwen in 1997, and became a unitary authority the following year.LGBT history
Charles Fletcher-Cooke was Conservative MP for Darwen 1951-1983.
The Blackburn and Burnley CHE Group was founded in 1972.
In 1973 John Kirby was murdered in Corporation Park.There were plans to hold a Blackburn Pride in 2013.[1]
