Pontypool is a town in Torfaen, Gwent.LGBT history
Ike Cowen was born there in 1917.
Leo Abse, who pushed through the Sexual Offences Act 1967, was MP for Pontypool from 1958 to 1983.
The Rainbow Club is a group for LGBT young people meeting in Pontypool.[1]
