The Square at Tremadog
Tremadoc, now Tremadog, is a village near Porthmadog in Gwynedd, North Wales. It was planned at laid out by the MP William Madocks in the first years of the 19th century, on land reclaimed from the sea. It is now noted as a centre for rock climbing.

T E Lawrence was born there in 1888.

William Madocks's former home, Plas Tan-yr-Allt, is now a gay-owned hotel.
