Central Region was a local government region in Scotland from 1974 to 1996. It had three subsidiary districts, Falkirk, Stirling, and Clackmannanshire. In 1996 the region was abolished and the three districts became unitary authorities.Central Scotland Police, covering the region, was replaced by the Police Service of Scotland in 2013.
