'''John Sessions''' was an actor and comedian. He was born 11 Jan 1953 as John Gibbs Marshall in Largs, [[Ayrshire]]. His father was a protestant and his mother a catholic. His mother was ostracised by her family when she got married.
Sessions changed his name when he discovered that there was already a John Marshall in Equity.
Sessions enjoyed a breakthrough in 1987 appearing in Porterhouse Blues, a Channel 4 series.
