Roger Baker

Roger Baker (born about 1934)[1] was a journalist and gay campaigner.

He studied English at Nottingham University. After working at the Nottingham Evening Post he moved to London in 1960 to take a job with Tatler.[1] In 1968 he published a book called Drag, followed by three cookery books. In 1970 he became London CHE organiser and was also involved with Spartacus, becoming its editor.[2] He also edited Quorum, and was one of the founders of Gay Sweatshop.
