Croydon Pride has meant two different things over the years: a Pride festival in Croydon in 1993, and a website from 2002 to 2006 associated with the [Croydon LGBT Forum]].

1993

There was a Croydon Pride in June 1993.[1] It included events at

Buses were laid on to take people to London Pride (the Pride Parade in central London and then the Pride Festival in Brockwell Park).

The Croydon Pride brochure listed seven participating groups:

The following year however Croydon Pride was dissolved through lack of support, but the CAGS banner continued to be carried in the Pride Parade.

2002–2006

Croydon Pride was also the name of a website funded by Croydon Health Promotion as a community resource for the LGBT communities of Croydon. It was launched in 2002 to coincide with the Croydigras festival of events promoted by Croydon LGBT Forum.[2]

The site appears to have disappeared for several years, possibly hacked, but reappeared in 2006, this time clearly branded as the website of the CLGBT Forum.[3] It disappeared after 2006, with the demise of the Forum.
