Hereford is a cathedral city and county town of Herefordshire, situated on the River Wye.

Dora Carrington was born in Hereford in 1893.
There was a Hereford CHE group in the 1970s.
In 2007 the Diocese of Hereford was found to have discriminated against John Reaney in not appointing him to the post of Youth Officer.[1]
